The Founding Story
The company began with a simple idea and a few small projects for friends – nothing more than a vision, some tools, and the desire to make a difference.
What started modestly has since grown into something far greater: today, we lead large-scale hotel installations and government-backed projects, with demand steadily rising as investments in Zanzibar increase.
In 2025, we expanded to Colombia – where we now realize projects ranging from small systems to supplying entire islands with renewable energy.
At the heart of it all is strong, reliable collaboration. We work closely with globally recognized partners from Germany, bringing world-class solar expertise to regions that need it most.

Our Director – Meet Lino
Electrical engineer with a passion for renewable energy and a vision for a better future. After completing his studies, Lino gained valuable experience working for one of Germany’s leading energy companies. There, he witnessed both the potential and the limitations of large-scale energy systems.
Driven by a desire to make a more direct impact, he decided to take a different path. The pandemic became a turning point – and Zanzibar, with its growing demand for reliable energy and its untapped potential, became the perfect place to start something meaningful.
With technical expertise, a clear mission, and the courage to start from scratch, Lino founded the company to bring sustainable energy solutions to the people who need them most – hands-on, community-focused, and with the long-term in mind.

Our mission is to empower communities in Zanzibar and beyond with clean, reliable, and affordable solar energy – while fostering local growth and sustainability. We believe that access to renewable energy is not a luxury, but a necessity and a basic right in the 21st century.
By combining innovative solar technology with a deep understanding of local needs, we aim to build energy solutions that are not only environmentally friendly, but also socially impactful. Our focus is on creating long-term value: for families, for businesses, and for the environment.

Our Youngster – Meet Joel
Joel is an essential part of our journey. With a degree in Renewable Energies, he brings both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to the team. Before joining the company, Joel was already involved in several solar installation projects, where he proved not only his technical skills but also his passion for clean energy.
What truly sets Joel apart is his commitment. Whether it’s working under the hot Zanzibar sun or solving complex technical challenges – he approaches every task with dedication, precision, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Reliable, proactive, and always ready to lend a hand, Joel is more than just a team member – he’s a driving force behind our mission to bring sustainable energy to the island, one project at a time.
Our Expert – Meet Aden
Aden is the backbone of our technical operations. With over 20 years of experience in solar energy, installation, and electrical planning, he brings unmatched expertise to every project we undertake.
He studied Electrical Engineering at Makerere University in Kampala – Uganda’s most prestigious university – where he graduated with distinction and received special honors as one of the top students in his year. His academic excellence laid the foundation for a career defined by depth, reliability, and innovation.
Aden is the guiding hand behind all our installations. Whether it’s system design, troubleshooting, or mentoring younger team members, his contributions ensure that every project meets the highest standards. With his vast knowledge in electrical systems and solar technology, he plays a key role in turning our vision into reality – reliably, expertly, and with heart.
